In addition to demonstrating success within a rigorous academic program, strong university applications reflect a student's participation within a range of extracurricular activities; focused on community service, areas of interest and passion, and participation in programs designed to enhance leadership potential.

The best universities in the world require that applicants be well-rounded, service-oriented leaders; prepared for success in university and prepared to take on the challenges of the future. Through a holistic approach to admissions, top universities, including the Ivy League schools, are able to identify the truly excellent applicants, from among tens of thousands of candidates. Of the 43,330 candidates that applied to Harvard in 2019, only 4.5% were accepted.

At GSN, whether it's volunteer service work at a local nursing home, participation on the GSN Lions basketball team, attendance at a regional debate or MUN competition; or participation within GSN's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Business Studies program, Georgia School Ningbo offers a range of extracurricular After School Activities (ASAs) and elective course offerings designed to enrich the leadership capacity, passion and academic aims of each student.
